Old lock found at 64 Hicks - working in historic buildings is always interesting!

Vintage Photos of  the corner store at
Cranberry & Hicks in Brooklyn Heights, NY

Micki Schubert and Chef Tim Oltmans, owners & proprietors of Jack the Horse Tavern, are delighted to be in wonderful, dynamic, and historic Brooklyn Heights.  While only one subway stop from Manhattan and one block from the new Brooklyn Bridge Park, this neighborhood provides a nostalgic backdrop for their upscale tavern.   The vintage photos below show some of the previous lives of this building.
